Tops (Shirts, Blouses, Knits, T-Shirts, Coats, Jackets)
Shoulder to Shoulder:
- Lay the garment flat, ensuring it is smooth and wrinkle-free.
- Measure horizontally from one shoulder seam to the other, across the back.

Chest:
Sleeve:

Full Length:
- Identify the highest point of the garment at the shoulder or collar seam.
- Measure straight down the front to the bottom hem.
This also goes for the half sleeve tees as well.
Trousers:
Waist
- Lay the trousers flat, fastened, and smooth out wrinkles. Measure across the waistband from one edge to the other, then multiply by two for the total waist circumference
Inseam
- Measure along the inside leg seam, starting from the crotch and running straight down to the hem.
Full Length / Outseam
- Measure along the outer side of the trousers, from the top edge of the waistband down to the hem.
Additional Tips
- Use a flexible measuring tape, keeping it flat and taut without stretching.
- Smooth out the garment on a flat surface for accuracy.
- All measurements are provided in centimetre (cm) for consistency and easy comparison.
